About the Artist
My name is Hannah Neville and I am the artist behind Hanla Art. I began painting around 5 years ago, following the birth of my first child. What started as some much needed me-time quickly became a hobby to consume all of my spare time and has grown from there.
I now consider myself an emerging artist, with my practice accounting for around a third of my working hours.
I’m a mother to two children, Hazel (6) and Lewis (3), who are as cute, loving and hilarious as they are needy, demanding and challenging. They occasionally paint alongside me and their love of nature has inspired many a painting so far!
Since having kids and especially throughout the toddler-hood era of our lives, I’ve leaned right into colour and fun around the home and this has undoubtedly been a big shaping influence amidst my work too. I love painting semi-abstract florals and landscapes and often throw in some super cute nursery minis, typically featuring baby animals.
